In the Cobalt, yeah. In an FBody, 35% is perfectly adequate.

mehh 35 % is just way to light IMO

10% sides and 5% hatch.. but now i have 32% on the windsheild but don;t have any pics of that yet

I'd say my Camaro had something like a 35%, maybe a lil darker.

IMHO, anything darker than 35% is asking to be pulled over. Then again, I think having an opaque side window is too g-money ghetto.

Yeah, I was content with what I had on the Camaro.

Though my quarter windows I plan on blending in the black glass surround on the Cobalt, and the hatch...why not?

I don't know why you guys are so afraid of getting pulled over. I mean I have probably put 20K on my car with the windows tinted and I have never been pulled over for it. I mean not a single cop even turns his head at my car and I have LT's and ORY and a gauge pod so it should be a cop magnet.

yeah ive been pulled over once in the last 6 yrs of owning my car with tinted windows ONCE... and he didn;t even write me for it

Again, probably because my tint - 35% tint, at that - lasted one month before I got pulled over. While I was driving completely normally. And going the speed limit. And had my mom in the car (again, trying to show that it's not like I was driving like an ass)

Proverbial needle in the haystack my man. EVERY SINGLE girl that I have met and started talking a little bit about cars to is just like, yeah uh-huh. Not, omg, you have an LT1 car, how come you didn't go with the LS? It's faster, but you know you do have more cubic inches!!! I'm going to say that would be pretty much awesome though.

back around 03, I had an 86 Camaro with 5% on sides and hatch and got pulled over in Marysville for just tint after having it for about a month or so.

Good friend of my dad brought home a brand new third gen trans am from Arizona, and it had tinted windows (obviously very dark cause of the location).

FIRST day driving it, got pulled over and was forced to take the tint off. BRAND NEW car.

Plus, I live in Royal Oak, which has Berkley and Clawson around to also be useless cop-wise.
