Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
When they start to go bad, might as well get a new one.
Or at least that works for girlfriends...
It doesn't really work well to use that logic for wives. Divorce cost the guy a lot, Court uses gold mine tratment. She gets the gold, guy gets the shaft. LOL

Proverbial needle in the haystack my man. EVERY SINGLE girl that I have met and started talking a little bit about cars to is just like, yeah uh-huh. Not, omg, you have an LT1 car, how come you didn't go with the LS? It's faster, but you know you do have more cubic inches!!! I'm going to say that would be pretty much awesome though.

Its one thing to have a girlfriend who supports the car crazyness, its a whole different ball game if you find one that is just as crazy as you! My girlfriend knows nothing about cars, but she loves mine and supports whatever I do to it. That works for me!

The wheels that were on the car when I bought it were "New" according to owner. He paid $2,000 for them. Wanted that much more for car so said never mind reduce price I'll get my own. My taste is shiny clean simple. I was going chrome but got talked out of it by tire guy, because I plan to drive all year. So I dropped to a high polished rim instead. Black was cheaper. Price seems to follow chrome highest then polished then painted. What made the wheels the previous owner had stand out is they had a stainless or chrome lip appied, tire guy said they only made them a couple years ago for a short time. Suspect rim lips came loose. They did look good. The previous owner would sell them or trade them if you buy some chome - polished rims and tires for him to put on Brians old Jimmy.

Yeah, black is least expensive because it requires the least amount of work. Get a semi smooth surface and powder coat it and you're done. The polished and/or chrome requires more work (and obviously Chrome is the most work)
