Yeah, exactly. He had me pull it forward a little out of the garage because he got it so tight into the garage he couldn't get in on the driver's side anymore. I had Dan's (mcssmostwanted) Mercury Mountaineer infront of me and Red Alert next to his car and it really made me nervous.

when in doubt, push the clutch back in... or give it more gas, depending on what kind of person you are.

Ok I did a little research and heres what I've found so far.....Your dad's Formula is one of 2847 built with M6. It appears in the pics to be cloth interior, if so they made 5524....if it's leather then it's one of 2962.(Sorry couldn't find anything with M6 and interior combined for a breakdown)

I couldn't find anything on color breakdown, but with '95 being the first year for Medium Dark Purple Metallic I'm guessing that the color helps make the car even rarer.

Check the RPO's for the following too......PO5-Chrome Wheels=37 built.

Pretty sweet car and I really like how that wheel/tire combo looks under the car. Hope he can find a combo that keeps that same look.

Thanks for the info, Scott. According to a guy on LS1Tech.com, they only made 396 "purple" Formulas in 1995. How many of those were M6/T-Top/Cloth, not so sure. I'm tempted to contact PHVS to see if they can give me more of a breakdown on just how rare the vehicle is.

The most mysterious part is the color. According to the RPO - 05Q and 05U, the vehicle's exterior color is "Cyclamen" Yet no one has ever heard of Cyclamen.

It does have a 3.42 rear end RPO, the MM6 rpo. I've only ever looked at the RPO codes on this FBody, so I'm not sure what's normally standard - but a few RPOs were interesting. "AAA" - Factory tint? I didn't know the windows were tinted from the factory? AR9 - Front bucket, european style, driver and passenger? European style seats? Eh?

Sweet 396, now that's rare. Would be cool to find out how many were M6, I'm sure PHS can help in that area. Make sure he orders a reproduction window sticker from them too. (ha ha, nothing like spending dads money)

As for the color code 05 that's correct for purple...I have no idea where "Cyclamen" is coming from. I also believe all M6 Formulas came with the 3.42's. The AAA I think just refers to the Solar Ray tinted glass and was standard on everything. AR9 should be the RPO for cloth buckets....... "European Style" was just a nice GM twist to make everyone feel all warm and fuzzy about what they were buying.

All M6 cars 94+ came with 3.42's. There was no other option.

Even my IROC's buckets are listed as "European Style".
