Yeah and those pics don't tell the whole story, I'll post more tomorrow. Went yesterday and got some parts, but there really isn't much left!!!

Yeah, I know. I got the taillights, one white 25th wheel, and they're taking the hatch off for me later this week. It was latched and after an hour out in the snow trying to pop the lock we gave up. Jay said he would have one of the other "yard boys" crawl inside to remove it.

They are great guys there, Jay crawled inside the hatch to remove the taillights for me, but couldn't hardly move around once he was in there, what a site!! I told him I would do it, but he jumped right thru the T-top and went to work on it.

BTW, Tom-Did you make it there, because he didn't see any wheels in the trunk area??

Freeman's is a GREAT junkyard. Buy far the cheapest prices around and they have some cool stuff in there. I don't know how much you walked around but here are some other gems they have around the yard. I took these last spring.

I was there yesterday also. I grabbed the rims and left. Too much stuff going on to walk around for a few hours.

I must be bird crazy. I would restore it. I guess you really have to love something to put that kind of cash into it.

When I get back from the Navy I will surely save a few pieces of American iron.

Here are some more pics, sorry about all the snow. It appears that the car was fairly clean before the fire, based on the photo of the rearend.

oh wow, that 10 bolt is amazingly rust free unless the car was undercoated.

Nope no undercoating other than the factory applied sound deadening in the wheel wells. From what I could see under the car it appeared very clean.

You can't tell to well from those pics, but the dash was melted right onto the front seats. You couldn't budge the front seats at all, like one big glob of plastic. The black streaks on the rear seat is more melted plastic, the car definatley got hot in the fire. The good news is, it was an automatic car which means one of the more popular versions made and not a 6spd car. Still sad to see though.

Um cant you just get a salvage title for it? Muscle cars are rescued out of the junk yard all the time. A history like that might even add value to some of the chumps at barrett jackson haha.

dangit, i shouldve had one of you guys grab the catback for me.

I'll be going back with a buddy this Saturday. I need some more parts. I was way to cold to keep working last weekend.
