    Some More Pictures of a Can Am, and My Dad's old TA

    Here are some more photos of one of my club members cars ( the 1977 Can Am ). The other car is a 1978 Trans Am that my dad ordered and received in November 1977. He ordered the car with the W72 performance package, auto trans with slap shifter and G80 rear with 3.23 gears. That was it. no power options at all. He also ordered the car bird delete due to the issues of flaking at the time and had the clear seat covers put on immediately to save the white interior. I sold this car for him last summer on E-bay and at the time of auction it had under 6100 original miles. I got to drive it twice in my life and it was a cool car.

    Ahh, my first car...1978 Martinique Blue Trans Am...exactly optioned as that one, except with blue interior. Never should have sold it.

    And that Can Am was at the Spring Dust Off...

        well that and freezing my nads off - what a day weather wise

                It's a 78. It was super nice. It had placed best in class at an all Pontiac meet several years ago and then my dad quit showing it. It had not been to a show since 1990. I think it was one of the cleanest in the country. My dad being the original owner and all, it was probably one of the most documented as well. When he sold it he had the window sticker, all dealer paperwork, build sheet, and original finance contract.
