I love that car! Back at the body shop I used to work at my boss was good friends with the guy that did the restoration on that car or at least freshened it up. I dont remember all the details about what the guy said about it but I could not believe it when he was talking to me about it. That car is amazing and has one big history lesson to it too! Hope he brings it down to the M&G!

Yes, the hood is correct for a '67 SS (even a big block). The SS hood trim with the 4 stacks on each side was introduced in '68, and of course the ZL-2 Super Scoop hood, which most people incorrectly call the "cowl Induction" hood, didn't come out until 1969.Originally posted by 81DaytonaPaceCar View Post...but is the hood right? .....
It's a pretty rare car. The big block was not offered at the start of production (Sept. '66 and was first available in Nov. '66). There were only a little over 5,000 big block built in the '67 model year.
