  • My new Chevy....

Well it been over a month since I sold my Camaro and I thought I would wait until the snow covered my new car, so you would have to guess what is it. (The winter wheels go on tomorrow)

I sure miss the rear wheel drive, low rpms on the hwy, large trunk opening, and I also miss parking in parking lot and not caring if it got a door ding small scrape.
It is a 2008 model with every option avaiable except the high rise spoiler.
It is much faster than my old 3.8 5 speed, the ride is more firm, handling is way better, and the mileage is about the same. Now I have a car that my grandma can get in easily LOL.

Yes Sir. Companies are making mandrel bent charge piping for them but they are useless until your get a tune. The stock tune is limitied to 260hp/260 torque. Due to the colder temp, I am omly making 15 lb of boost where i could make over 20 when it was warm.

I LOVE the seats in those. Went and sat in one Sat night, so nice. Quicker around Nurburgring than a 5th gen too IICR. Only thing I hate is the massive door.

Yea, I wanted to get a sedan. But the sedans are uglier and they didn't make them until 09. The 09s had a 1,000 rebate the 08 had a 2500 rebate.
Surprisingly the doors are only 1 inch shorter than 4th gen doors.

colder weather should equal more boost, I don't understand this.

Denser air, less boost needed to achieve the same amount of power.

At least, that's how I see it...
