  • Winter Storage Pictures

Well its that time of year again. Winter is here and its time for the cars to be laid to rest until next spring. Lets post up some pics of how your cars have been stored. I know we had quite a discussion as to the techniques people use, for me I just backed it into the barn with a pretty full tank of gas, dusted it off, unhooked the battery, threw the cover on( yes I know its a chevy cover..it came with the car.. and walked away. Heres my pics. Lets see yours

Funny... with the cover on and only seeing the front 3/4ths of the car, the Firebirds don't have too much difference in looks to a Camaro under covers.

Mine is sitting out in the driveway.

I have a barn space reserved in a week. I just changed the oil yesterday to Valvoline synthetic. I will most likely fill the tank and put in some Stabil. I have a few tears in my car cover I started to sew and will finish before I put her away. Pics coming soon.

I'm hoping to get my garage cleared out and re-organized enough to back the Formula in next to the Monte Carlo, but we all know how likely that is. . . lol

Otherwise, I'll be putting it on the stock rims, selling off the 'vette wheels to finance a little "project" I'll be starting (don't ask, I'm not spilling the marbles 'til she hits the streets ) in the spring, and throwing a cover on it. If it doesn't get a place in the garage, it's stuck in the driveway for another year.

I know we will. I'd like to have it at home or close by, though, because I would like to get started on my "project" over the winter.

                            haha no.
my only plans are a new clutch and maybe a little different cam.
That is if I ever go back to work and not have to sell it
