8700 obo. Im going to list it for 9 on autotrader. If I cant break even, im just going to take a screwing on my truck instead. Unfortunately for me the blue book for a car like this has dropped over $1500 since i bought it 3 months ago... and i have no clue why unless its seasonal.Originally posted by BlackbirdWs6zzz View Posthow much are you asking?
Here's the rundown on it though:
-1999 V6 Camaro 54,000 miles
-5 speed manual
-24+/34+ MPG (ive managed 26.5 / 36 with it)
-110% stock
Body is 9.5/10
Interior 9.5/10
Mechanical 10/10
Car has Power Windows, Power Locks, Keyless Entry, Alarm, Cruise Control, T-Tops, Leather Interior (perfect condition), Fog Lights... pretty much the works. The woman also tried to order monochrome paint but GM wouldnt do it for some reason therefore the dealer did it upon arrival. and of course it had steel wheels originally
EVERYTHING works on it. 0 issues whatsoever, it hasnt even leaked oil like most 3.8s do. Drives very smooth. Would make an excellent first car for someone.
The previous and original owner was a woman in her mid 60s that goes to florida every year, so the car stayed in the garage every winter. Have the paperwork, original build sheet and brochure.
In the past 5k miles (my ownership) it has gotten:
-New fuel filter
-New accessory belt
-ALL fluids flushed/changed: radiator, trans, rear axle - and all appear to have been changed before.
-Synthetic Engine oil
Brakes stop better than anything ive ever owned - the car is so light they hardly have to do any work, and they dont have to fight an automatic trans either.
Wheels are in perfect shape and insides have been coated by Liz to prevent peeling. Original Steel wheels included in price.
here is the engine bay and interior:

Thats cause its "TECHNICALLY" a year older now with the model year changing in September. Making it a 10 year old car instead of a 9 year old car.Originally posted by JoeliusZ28 View Post8.... It's probably pretty close. The 16x8 snowflakes are the lightest aluminum wheel used on a 4th gen Camaro, even lighter than the salad shooters. I forgot the exact weight, but somewhere around 17lbs I thought it was. I had found a wheel weight thread somewhere but it didn't include steelies since nobody wants those except for winter wheels.Originally posted by bri2203 View PostWhich wheels are heavier?
steel-heavier material however they are not as wide and the material is thinner.

I noticed prices on 4th gens have dropped a LOT in the last month or maybe two. I'm thinking it's end of season causing most of the price drop since people don't buy sports cars for winter. I was considering selling my V6 since I have a baby on the way but I don't want to lose a ton of money just to do so.

yea i have the printout back home of what my car was valued at when i bought it only 3 months ago - and the 5,000 miles difference doesnt even affect the result. On the bright side, gas mileage sells these days and this car definitely brings that to the table. If my truck ends up selling first I will drive this car forever. It is a comfortable car that is incredibly simple! Oil changes couldnt be any easier on this thing, and even the alternator is easy access.Originally posted by GETGONE View PostI noticed prices on 4th gens have dropped a LOT in the last month or maybe two.
