        Piece of cake!

Darn air bags cause more damage than they are worth some times.

I would like to do one again though, its fun.

Are you chopping out that fender support and welding in a new one. Those things are a pain to pull out, had to on mine. Good luck with your project, always like to see them get resurected.

Thanks for all the support, my first time taking on something this big but it has definitely been fun and educational so far! Now I just can't wait to get it done!

The entire front clip came with the project so its pretty easy to take what we need. Hopefully I'll have the old apron cut out and the new one welded in by the end of next weekend (sucks only being able to work on it after I get out of work!). I have been waiting on a new cradle because the previous owners didn't think there was a difference between the V6 & V8 cradle, so I have the wrong one...The new cradle and other misc. parts are being delivered tomorrow so the suspension will be back in on friday night after work.

The 2nd Gen in the background is one of my Dad's projects, a 1980 Turbo Trans Am. He picked that up for $250 about 10 years ago and has been slowly getting it together. If anyone knows where to find a PEVR valve and a blue houndstooth interior for it, I would be greatly appreciative. Most of his time & money go into his 1967 GTO so I would love to surprise him with it so he can finally finish it!

I know its been awhile since I posted anything but I finally finished the project a few months ago. Car runs great and I absolutely love driving it. Got a few things left to do on it yet but here are some pics of it. It hasn't been cleaned up yet but its going in for touch ups and a polishing in a week or so. I'll have to post some pics then. Let me know what you think.
