Honestly. That looks dumb. There is a 1979 Firedird running around Bay City with at least 26" wheels on it and its jacked way up to just to fit them on there. What a great way to ruin a classic!

I agree it looks dumb and everything that goes along with it. Spendin more money on wheels/tires than the car is worth is a common site in Kwameville.

But who cares.....this is why I love the car hobby

Some people want a fast car, some people want all show no go, some people want there car stock, some people want it highly modified.

If everyone thought the same we would still be driving Model Ts or something. Luckly in my old age of 22, I just keep my negative comments to myself.

neg commints for this i understand, lowriders cool lifted four wheel drive trucks cool car bod on 4 wheel drive frame sweet, a car on rims so high its out of place cant ride smooth and sits higher than a mud truck with 44's just dont seem right, what is the purpose of wheels on a car that big? fancey paint awsome big motor killer, who has the biggest wheels????? unless its a mud truck big wheels mean nothing.

And usually, the wheels are nearly solid plates.

I got into this discussion once and i always said that i have more respect for the guys that can tuck a nice set of 18's on a car like that, than a guy that lifts the whole car to put 26's on it. You loose all performance and handling when you do that to a car. The best old car to put 20's on is an old Lincoln Continental that has suicide doors. Those cars actually look sweet with a nice looking 20" on it. Otherwise I think a program needs to be in place where you have to get your mods approved before you do it to a car. That way i wouldn't have to clean the vomit out of my car everytime i drive through saginaw.
