Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
No times as of yet, but I WILL be going to the track with it to get some times. I can say its fast all I want, but without any time slips it means nothing.
Glad to see you at least bought a car from the big 3.
Mitsubishi is one of the big 3??? That's who made the cars for Plymouth along with the Eagle Talon. They can be made to be quite fast. I've seen a couple modded ones running low 13's/high 12's at the track.

Yeah I know, just giving you a hard time. Keep us posted on the results from the track!!
Gonna be awhile, but once that happens, I will post the slips. Never been to the track before, so what it runs, and what it should run will be 2 diff things, lol.
Oh no... Please say that's not your daily driver? If you don't already know Matt Shehan, you will...
It has a GM MAF, so it has to be modded pretty thoroughly. The MAF and translator aren't cheap. Looks good though, just good luck with it. I know two people who have had balance shafts seize/break in the past month. Let's just say DSMs aren't known for their reliability.

Why would they keep the balance shafts? I haven't looked to see if mine are still there, but if they are, they are coming off. I dont feel like having a balance shaft belt break and send my timing belt flying. DSMs can be reliable, just like anything, they need to be maintained.

I was refering to it being a PLYMOUTH And Yes I know it was built by Mitsubishi. Just like the Pontiac Vibe and Toyota Matrix are built on the same line.
