  • Bringing it home

After a month of waiting we hit the road Friday night. 1200 miles in 27 hours and the T2 Z28 made it back to Michigan. Here are a couple pics taken before we loaded it on the trailer. Racing starts May 6th. There is a lot to do in the next six weeks. Drop on by and say hi.

Yep, there is some damage but it isn't awful. In 2004 the front end was stuffed under a Neon. It still managed to finish the race. Appearance wise it needs help with front end fit, LR quarter panel, right side rocker and rear bumper paint. Most of the decals will be replaced also.

Matt, Danny and co. sure have a sweet setup. His cars are always top notch.

yea he's the most meticulous person i've ever met. he thinks of anything and EVERYTHING to make stuff easier! he could tell you exactly where everything is in his barn/barns and in his trailer. everything is labeled and it's just crazy.

haha yea josh i guess you were right kinda...i didn't notice any damage but i thought you were talking about the reflection on the front clip....yeah those "SSB/SSC" "Show Room Stock" neons don't move outta your way too fast lol

This year includes more events for the general public. These include open track days during race weekends and 2 stand alone events. Drivers must pass a safety inspection. It is a great way to get on the track in a semi-controlled environment.

                              Thanks,
It was a long trip in 2 days, but it was well worth it. She needs some work before the season starts but it should be a blast. I am going to start tearing into it this weekend to see what it needs. At a minimum it needs new brakes, alignment, muffler and some fit and finish work.

Open invite to anyone that wants to come out and see some racing first hand. With some advance notice weekend admission to racing and pit access for $5.
