I use to use zaino........don't get me wrong i think it works great and it last quite awhile, but it takes a lot of time... On my car and the girlfriends car i washed it, used clay bar, and then just mothers carnauba wax paste. I did a yukon and used a bunch of rubbing compunds because it had surface rust all over it...i got it all out and that looks amazing without any wax on it what-so-ever. I am planning on putting a better shine on it tues morning. on my moms car I washed it, clay bar, and the used Meguiar's 2.0 NXT Generation Tech Paste Wax.....and i think i'm addicted. Personally i think it shines as good, if not better than zaino (never thought i'd say that) and it's suppose to last just as long...we'll see

I like the NXT tech wax as well, but since you just did a 35th car, I have a question. What did you do about the stipes, did you wax them as well? I tried to get as close as possible but it was always evident where I came close and couldnt get right up to the vynl, but I didnt want to mess up the vynl so I never tried anything with them.

Can you recommend a good clay bar and where to get it? And a step by step on how to "properly" use it? lol.

I went right over the stripes....it's not going to hurt them. I wouldn't recommend using a clay bar on the stripes. We got our clay bar thru zaino it came in a kit when we bought their product. It's rather simple. If you're going to the m&g look me up and we can discuss it there...it'd be easier to explain in person
