Pretty cool -- the simulated carbon fiber painting is an interesting process. I've never seen the simulated CF in person, so it'll be cool to see these pieces when you get them!

I don't think the majority of them will look bad when installed but that shift knob is super tacky.

I had a faux carbon fiber dash overlay in my Sonoma. Had the same painted process as this but was cleared or expoxied over so it was nearly impossible to scratch off. I also had a faux carbon fiber overlay kit in my 88 Fiero Formula 10 years ago. It was nice but nowhere near as nice as what real carbon fiber looks like. There was a Mustang at the Lane Auto show on Saturday that had the upper part of the body painted to look like carbon fiber. It looked really good they way they did it. I didn't see anybody around the car when I looked at it to find out who had done it.

i wont be installing the shift knob.

I have either an all black aluminum MOMO shift knob or a silver-chrome/leather wrapped ichibahn, both are absolutely beautiful.
