  • So close, but yet so far

    Ok here is some pics of my camaro. Got the new motor bolted in. The one with the red valve covers is the old tired 71 chevy 350. Now just alot of small stuff like pullys, trans mount, and other stuff to deal with then she well be somwhat done. I dont know what kind of motor it is dident even care for the price i got it for. I heard the motor run and sence it well only be in tell mid july i had to jump on it.

        Yeah, i like the way the motor looks in there. Gonna be a pain to work around those headers. Not running power steering so that should be a fun one lol

            Yeah im trying to get it done for the lane car show on the 23rd. Its not gonna be in the show or anything but i atleat wanna drive it there. Im gonna get me a Flowmaster there on sale and put it on in the parking lot lol

              I will never put on my own exhaust ever again. I ordered the Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back for my Camaro and it took me and my dad a good 4 hours and pissed us off the whole way through, haha. I would recommend an exhaust shop for a cheap alternative.

                Iv always put on my own exhaust with nothen ever going wroung. I got burned one time trusting a shop when i was 17 and i never took my car to a shop sence than. If i dont know how to do it i learn how.This was my first time doing a motor/trans swap by my self and i did pretty good Im proud of my self

                  Looks good so far. Hope you cover up the carb/distributor/water neck holes before something small dives in there.

                    Yeah i have my 600 cfm holly
                    carb and my other intake on with all the holes covered

                      Great job on the progress! Best of luck in the rest of the swap.

                      Makes me somewhat joyed to get up tomorrow to tear the 350 out of the 'vette!

                        This motor is just a temp motor, mabe for the summer over the winter im putting in a 350 twin carb setup. I dont need alot of power all i want and need is 300 HP

                          LOL....thats what I told people when I bought a 350 block.
                          Now its turnning into a stroker motor LOL!!

                            I want power, bu the kind of power i can drive every day in the spring/summer. A stroker would be a lil wild for me.
