The ORIGINALS will always be worth more.Originally posted by wmccrxpower View PostMAN, with all the hockey stick stripe, Berger panel copying, I am beginning to wonder why I payed all that money to be ORIGINAL!! An technically it should be called a GMMG Panel cause GMMG put them on more then just the berger cars.

no idea why you paid so much money.... sounds like a personal problem.
It's only a body panel... It means nothing performance wise...

Are you kidding me?Originally posted by 02redz28 View PostIt means nothing performance wise...
It's worth at least 20 horsepower.
...then I started thinking about doing a "Berger panel" style scheme on the back of my car, only to remember that what would be painted is already black.Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z

coming from my perspective, it wouldnt make any sense to buy a special edition camaro and pay alot of thousands more when you could drop a couple hundred and basically have the same car except the paperwork!
about the billet grills, I use to HATE them, then i put one on my car just because i found it for dirt cheap, i think they look better in person than in pictures

Thats my point! I bought a car that is 1 of 36 produced. With everyone and their brother now able to buy the stripes and paint their sail panel, it might still be able to whoop the crap out of them, BUT, from an ordinary persons perspective my car LOOKS no different than those "cheap imitations".Originally posted by badinfluence View Posteasy does it

I'm with Patrick on this. I've never cared for the billet grills on any car, especially 98-02 Camaro's. Don't know why, just don't like them, I think maybe cause they look kinda plain? Just wanted to add that, ruffle Wade's feathers more, lol.
Regardless, car looks nice man.
Ang, sorry about that extra money you spent, but hey, at least you and most of us know it's original, lol.
