  • Trying on a pair of stripes.

I was cleaning up the ground effects from the curb rash and decided to go even more with the extra paint and try a pair of racing stripes. Its gun metal grey to match the rims and Trans Am decal on the door then pin striped off with the same silver as the firebird decals. Looks alright I guess not sure about it, really notice the dip in the nose now so i will have to fix that soon. It needs a new paint job anyways figured I would play around. Still have to finnish the tail end of it. Little dirty too rained a bit last night here.

Tell me what you guys think yes, no, kinda? I know it's not the best job but when I go to do a new paint job I might do it up right then. Haven't seen many 3rd gen birds with stripes and was curious.

I'm going to go against the grain and say start them at the crease of the facia and run them from there up the hood.. Know what I mean?

Thats what got me too, wasn't sure about the nose having the stripes... I'll photshop what I have when I'm ready for a final product. I like it but still seems off a bit to me...

I think I'd have to see them in person. They're different but they still seem just a bit off and don't quite flow right. It would probably look better if the gfx were the same color as the car.
