Exhaust on a v6? seems like a waste to me.
If I had a v-6 id be keeping it quiet so nobody noticed it was a 6.
Why waste cash on a 6'er when you have an LS1 to mod?
I'm pretty sure theres at least one V6 on this board that would hand it to your LS1

If this car had had the factory dual outlet exhaust I probably would have put since decent tips on it and left as it was. This had the lame ugly single side exit on it. I wanted something decent with dual exit. About all the cat backs are pretty close in price so I went with the stainless Magnaflow since it's my winter beater too so it needs to be durable. The SS is fun as it is and everything for that is really expensive that I would like to do performance wise. Headers are probably the cheapest thing I could do on it and that's still gonna run $800 or more.
I see. An addiction to mufflers & aftermarket in general, I have that same problem

That's not where I was going, but I'm sure there are many v6's out there that will do that.

I'm not saying its fast ... I but I did get it cheap

It's my phantom RS Camaro. The factory didn't build one in 2000 nor did SLP, so I'm making my own.

                Just kidding Wade.....

However, I'm gonna +1 on the VHT niteshades on those tail lamps... they just look....well... wrong...

Niteshade sucks! It looks a million times better mixing black with some automotive clear. I like the lights as they are.

$300 if you want the junk uncoated and no Y pipe. I want coated and a catted Y pipe. Yes I want to keep it as emissions legal as possible. I hate the flat look of Niteshades. Clear mixed with black looks the best. I had a set tinted on my SS for a few months before I got the export lights. I traded them to Baker5209. I'll be painting the extra sets I have when I paint other stuff on the car. The stock lights just look boring and I didn't want to do tinted lights on this car.

So niteshade which is black paint mixed with clear coat in a spray bottle sucks but it looks a million times better having to do your own mixing? It's the same exact thing.

It is NOT the same thing. Clear you have to mix the clear with reducer to spray it and when mixed has a short shelf life. The Niteshades is designed to sit for long periods and still be useable. It's like calling Duplicolor touch up paint the same thing as real base/clear paint. I've used Niteshades and it always turns out dull and flat looking. The gloss you get from real clear mixed with black is a million times better just as it is out of the spray gun. It looks even better when wet sanded and buffed. When you see the two side by side in person you'll understand. They're both paint but TOTALLY different formulations and results.

You must not have done it right, mine have never been dull after spraying nightshades on it.
