never changed it when i converted from a V6 firebird to the lt1, thinkin since it has to go to paint maybe i will pick it up now and all will match. maybe. looked at ground effects may be a prob with how low it sets and if i go with the back i have to cahnge the sides to match and may be a prob with ride hight. gotts think a little more about it.
That heavy ass iron LT1 must really make it sit low in the front! Mine sits low, but not that low. Do you have extra weight in the back? Mine doesn't sit that low in the back either.

it droped the back about 1 3/4 inch but i have 2 15's in the back in a custom box that way maybe 90 lbs give or take. so it would have sat low with the old springs, it drops less than 1/2 inch with the subs though.
The stance looks good. Did you put different shocks as well or just change the springs? I would like to lower my car and someone was telling me i should change both, and not just add lowering springs to regular shocks.

You really want new shocks with lowering springs. GOOD shocks too, not just any. I dropped mine with Tokico shocks first and the rear kept bottoming out on me. I ponied up and bought Konis and they ride MUCH better. They have better compression dampening so they don't bottom out and are adjustable.

thats what i was told so i switched everything, im liking the i belive they are KYB shocks but damn the front are $150 a piece while the rear are just 33 bucks apiece. but ill find out if i decide to go that way for sure lookin at other set up's, hell changing the rear only take 1 hour with a jack and stands. the front are about 2 hours give or take.

Wow you're slow..I can have the rear swapped and back on the ground in about 30 minutes! That's as long as none of the bolts fight me! Not including swapping springs on the front shocks, I can do both sides of the front in just over an hour! I've had the SS apart twice and the V6 1.5 since I blew a shock and had to pull it and replace it after I had just replaced them a month before.

lol you think $150 for the front is expensive look at the price of the QA1's, i just put those on my car, they are awesome

How much have you driven it since you put the shocks on it? I thought my Tokicos were OK until I drove it a few hundred miles and over big bumps it started bottoming out.
Me? I've driven about 500-600 miles since my spring/shock swap. I have been down dirt roads, highways, over speed bumps, and everything in between (even 3" of snow) and I haven't bottomed yet.
