I think it would look better if there were fake vents on each side of the intake. I think if you did that on a hood that didn't have the vents on the sides it would look alot cleaner. And i dare you to tell your dad he should wash your car

The hood is no where near done. I plan to clean it all up and bond/fiberglass it around the edge so it looks nice and smooth when all done. It might not be perfect when i get done, but i'm not one to leave a half done job. I like things to look done right.

It did weaken it a good deal, but I just got done welding up some 1/2" Box steal to weld on the underside and it should firm it right back up.

It's an early 80's 350 4-blot main block. It's had some mild/moderate work done to it.

Yeah i see what your saying about a hood without the vents, but this stock hood is what I had to work with..so thats what I used. And i don't need to ask him to wash it now. I just froze my hands off in the process but did it myself....Now i will just have to take MY car cover off his car and put it on mine.

Totally agree! I love it! I always thought itd be sweet to do that on Red Alert, but alas I need to have a little more balls in there than a v6.

Clean that thing up and smooth out the jagged parts of the metal around the "blower".
