So as i had said in my introduction post I was working on a somewhat custom project...well I got some pics today. Tell me what you guys/girls think of this...even though it is to late to undo it . Sorry cell phone pics are all i have right now....and there is still a lot of work to be done on the hood to clean things up around the opening.

Yeah I need to give it a good bath, but I have not been able to lately. The sun just went away....if it comes back out maybe I will pull it outside and wash it...my dad washed his 2 days ago, but didn't bother to be a nice father and wash mine.Accepting any donations to make my car faster...

Yeah i understand that. I have thought about a blower in the future and there is just enough room to fit a roots style in there...just not anywhere near enough money to pay for one. I had to do something to fit an air cleaner on there since there was no room between the hood and carb... I was going to buy a 3-4" cowl style and put a small filter on it, but figured why waste the money on a hood like that now, and then have to change it up again down the road when I did get a blower on it. This will also allow room for the nitrous plate to fit in there since the cowl style might have restricted that. But thanks for you opinion I knew not everyone would like it.Originally posted by kammi10 View Postnot feeling it.. scoops like that belong on blower motors or boatsAccepting any donations to make my car faster...

yeah the wires are a work in progress for the alternator. It has some balls to back it up. I have no idea what kind of times it might run in the quarter since i have never ran it in this body before. It used to run low 13's in a 72 chevelle with terrible suspension, and a different torque converter. If i can hit mid/low 12's right now before nitrious or any other suspension mods I will be very happy.Accepting any donations to make my car faster...
