  • New Wheels on the '76

    Looks like my son (LTGuy) hasn't had time to post up pics of his new wheels so here they are. AR Torque Thrust M's in 17x8.
    We wanted to get the wheels on first so we could see how much it needed to be lowered and will have that done before spring.
    He also did a really nice job redoing the trunk.

          He was at a gas station last fall and an older gentleman started talking to him about how nice the car was and how he used to have one and so on and so on. Just like every time we pull in anywhere with the classics. He said he realized that if he bought a late model he would have a lot of fun but would never get the respect that the older cars do.
          Plus he knows the '76 is worth a little more each and every day

                    We're going old school and cutting a coil and a half out of the original springs.
                    Mine has springs with one coil cut and it dropped about an inch so he is hoping for an inch and a half.
