Coming along great but the hood pins kill the flow of the car. They just seem so out of place on a stock hood

Is there really any point to the hood pins, though? I always thought hood pins were for people who drag race a lot and makes it easier to take the hood completely off by taking the pins out.

basically yes, thats what there for. plus aftermarket pin on hoods are lighter than a bolt on hood.

but for some reason hood pins give me a hard on , so to me i dont care if everyone else in the intire world doesent like the look of them, i do

trust me though, i had them on when the hood was not sanded and it looks alot better than in the pictures, even i look at the pictures like ehh...

well the car was'nt in "bad" shape but it had a few scratches and a few dents, plus i bumped a van last winter, just taking a step twards beeing show worthy.

I don't even like hood pins on high horsepower muscle or drag cars! I think it's stupid to put them on a V6. It just looks tacky.

For once I agree with you Wade, hood pins are not my thing either. But remember we are using the term "gawdy" not rice. So be nice.

I like the spring loaded hood screws to pop a hood off but if it's not needed then ditch em. I think that they will detract from what your going to do with the designs on the car, like the design around the hood vents. Good luck either way new paint is always the best

thats fine, everyone's entitled to there own opinions. but the way i see it is, its a good thing i dont follow the "RICE" code. because then my car would look exactly the same as everyone elses.

it would be eather red,blue,white,or black and have bellybutton rims (because everybody has them) stock leather seats, a ss hood, ss spoiler and have a racing stripe or hockey stick stripes and would be uber cool!

granted my car does fall into the bellybutton rim category, but im working on it.
