  • Orange Funky Cavalier?

So we are driving home tonight when this orange thing enters the lane in front of me. I'm like WTF??? Its Nick!!! LOL. Nope I catch up to it and see it is a later model Cavy, full body kit, tailight delete / relocate, custom mirrors, custom hood, custom wheels, tint the works. No fart car, no wing.

After looking it over the car is kind of cool. I mean the body work is legit and it is not horrible gaudy. Has anybody seen this thing / have pics of this thing? I saw it driving in Ypsilanti.

I was just thinking about how much $$$ this person has tied up in a Cavalier. I mean why??? All that custom work would end up running you like $20 grand for a $2,000 car.

No it was like a late 90s car, maybe a 2000? It looked like they used custom truck tailights on the rear bumper cover.

Theres an orange cavalier up in saginaw that is trying to replicate the car off of dukes of hazard it's pretty hillarious. One of the best show cars on the HIN circuit was a 99 cavalier, it was really crazy looking.

i think its stupid to trick out a cavi when u can buy a f-body or higher sports car.
its funny to see cavis with lambo doors then see a lambo at the gas station withouth lambo doors.

because youve seen tha so many times.

Maybe some people like the challange of making a slow car, fast.
Maybe they cant afford an fbody.

Ferrari owners probally think its stupid to buy a Camaro when you can buy and F430.

If I see it again I'll try and get pics, but I am only in the Ypsi area when I am going home on weekends. I have never seen the car before this.

Cause its what he likes and/or what he can afford. And really its no worse the wrapping a bunch of money up in a 6cyl fbody. You end up with more into it then its worth.

Don't take this the wrong way people, I was just trying to make a point. Besides you can pretty much end up upside down in any car if you try hard enough.
