67 and 89 pre-money pit. Bought 67 for 1k and sold for 4k. Put the 3k + a little more into 89 for current configuration. If anyone can find a 67 like this for 1k, I will probably buy you a beer.

Wow, I would buy that for $1k. Heck even $4k might be within reason.

holy crap how long ago did you sell that, that 67 for 4k was still a steal, i want one of those so bad! Sold it 2.5 years ago. From the knees down it was pure rust. The trunk pan was so rusted one of the shock mounting points was loose. The clutch needed to be replaced but wasn't by the previous owner because of the rust. It needed exhaust too. 2BBL 326, 3-speed manual, AM radio, manual steering and brakes. Definitely a cool car! Should have fixed the clutch and daily driven the thing! It had 205,000 miles on it, all in Michigan.
