I just washed mine today. It was pretty nasty and had a ticket for a free wash and couldn't stand it anymore.

Never driven in...but may have been outside in it. Unless you picked the car off the assembly line it's most likely seen rain sitting in the holding area or at the dealer or somewhere before the person picked it up.

Mine may of in a holding area but it was build in late June '99 and picked up from the dealership the day it was dropped off. The guy watched them do the prepurchase inspection (or whatever it's called). Only seen sunny 80 degree Florida days for the first 8 years of it's life....then I bought it!

May have seen some rain on the way from Canada to Florida though. Could of been laying but he said it's only seen about 10 minutes of drive time in the rain.

i've been driving the last day w/o the front clip, hopefully i'll have my good clip on tomorrow after i powerwash all that salt off!

Not to be the devil's advocate, but please explain how a vehicle that was produced in Canada of all places was then transported to the US, through Mi more than likely, and transported to wherever it was sold at but never saw winter? It's just like the rain statement that I hear people make and it drives me nuts -- people really think their car never saw rain at the dealership? I mean, come on now.

That's funny you mention that; when i ordered my '98 SS there was a big ice storm at the plant (delayed it for a month) and I used to cringe at the thought of my new car covered in ice !

I dont think my car has been dirty beyond a layer of dust since i bought it It got wet once at the woodward cruise and still looked clean

my truck on the other hand needs a wash BAD. ive just been spraying it off at the dyke's wash, and it doesnt get everything off. Matt's shop tinted it over a month ago and i still havent had a chance to take a picture of it clean

Yeah, my Jimmy is pretty gross, but I think I purposefully never took pics of my car dirty.

Why? It makes looking at it clean so much more satisfying!
