Sorry guys, I gotta diagree on the DD GTO thing. But then again, that is just my opinion. And you are correct, if that's all you got, then that's all you got. But, take some time and talk to some 50 year guys that drove real muscle cars back in the day, and how they wished they had not driven them in the winter. I drove my '84 Camaro in the winter, but it was just a basic coupe car and actually did pretty well with some weight. But after it started rotting away, I could not save it. Things like the brake and fuel lines rust and leak. Anyway, when I bought a $500 Corsica, it was well worth it and was way better in the snow. Those GTO's will be worth some coin, I can promise you that, more than my T/A ever will.

Do you live in Michigan? These cars are almost dime a dozen... Heck, all they really are is a G6 with a v8.Originally posted by nascarnate326 View PostThere are so few of these things around- Brian Meissen

They really are! They actually have some of them on the lots but all of them with in 500 miles of here are LS2 autos. Trust me, I've looked. I was never a fan of them until I drove a buddies (LS2 6spd) and that thing was fast. Didn't handle as well as my Trans Am in the corners but it has that sleeper factor going on and the front seats are amazing! I'd put a set of them in my Trans Am if they weren't black and didn't say GTO on the headrest.Originally posted by meissen View PostDo you live in Michigan? These cars are almost dime a dozen... Yes sir I most definitely do. I do not see that many on the west side. And I will admit, they do not have the classic American muscle car theme of big scoops, stripes and wings, but it is a hell of a car. I compare it to a mix of a Cavalier and Grand Am on steroids. Have you ever driven one?? Saying that it is just a G6 with a V8 tells me that you have not driven one or the other. Am I a huge GTO fan...no, but I'm just calling them like I see them, and I do respect that car.Originally posted by meissen View PostDo you live in Michigan? These cars are almost dime a dozen... ive actually driven quite a few and am not saying anything about them performance wise - i just never cared for the styling and therefore to me its nothing more than a dd - i would put it in the same catagory as the last generation Monte SS's for a higher performance dd - only it didnt look as nice
