yeah - one of my uncles is that way with his vette (62)

beautiful car but not nessesarily unique - didnt drive it for like 20yrs

finally realized it just as good of an insurance investment and started putting on about 150miles a summer a few years ago - and same thing my cousin could care less about the car

Nobody in my family is into cars at all, I'm it, the lone gear head. Kinda weird that I ended up into cars with no one else giving a rats butt.

There was a guy I worked with about 3 years ago had an early 70's 442 with something like 20k on it and he never drove it. Just sat in his barn. He wouldn't drive it in once no matter how much I asked him.

i wouldnt say ive sucked up - but aside from his brother(my other uncle - the whore vette review i posted recently) im the only one thats shown any interest

if anybody gets it though itll be his brother and then he'd probably leave to one of his idiot kids - none of which are gearheads but like expensive shiny things

I think experiencing rubber in all 4 gears of my uncles '70 AAR cuda as a kid is what got me hooked.
