Left Thursday afternoon to go hunting at our cabin in Copemesh. For those who don't know Copemesh is about 25 miles outside of Cadillac down M115. Weather was horrible so the car was filthy. The cabin is 3 miles down a seasonal road. Yes I took my Trans Am deer hunting! I was meeting my grandpa, dad, uncle, and dad's friends up there. I wasn't driving 3 hours south to get the GrandmaLS to go hunting.
A few pics of the car...

My ground blind I was in... (I know, it's hard to see

)

I took a shot a nice 6pt and missed. Not to make a ton of excuses but it was my fault. I forgot my broad heads so I had to borrow a few from my dad. He shoots carbon arrows with (I'm throwing random numbers in here) like a 50gram broad heads. I shoot old school aluminum arrows with like 100 gram broad heads. I didn't even think to shoot off a few practice shots at the target to see how they shot. The deer was right at a tree that I measured (yes, I really did) at 20 yards and when I shot it went right over the back. Skimmed his back....no joke! Let out the most horrible grunt as it happened and took off running. There was blood in my bait pile!.
