  • Rte 66 day 4

Trouble with the internet last nite..

1st is my son driving the car, for the first time!
2 is a beef ranch, says "Support Beef, run over a chicken"
    3 A Rte 66 car museum
4 If you can see..all the bugs in the grill and front end of the car
5 This was a car in The Fireball Run...we ran with it for about 50 miles.
Fireball run I looked up and is a race from Florida to California but they have to put signs/posters up along the way for missing kids.
Saw about 3 of the cars.

Those look awesome, Randy! What did you do when you encountered the dead-end route? Do you continue on through the concrete-less route, or do you turn around and find a way to pick it up again?

Car is running GREAT! I think people are a little surprised when I won't back down and follow them, ie the Jag from the Fireball Run.

Only issue is it wants to go and keep going!

We turn around, but I guess there are guys who do it in 4 wheel drive vehicles.
You just hop back on the interstate again and find the next exit that shows the Rte 66 sign.
Yesterday we did the longest stretch aver 150 miles in Arizona(pics coming) winding mountain passes on the last leg of it,AWESOME, no gaurd rails!!
