Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Kenny isnt on the site because well...he is one of the few ppl without internet...or a computer but he got a Camaro RS and was talking mad shit about it, he said the guy put 3k into the engine and he did....to fix it...and by fix it I mean replace everything to stock parts. The floor boards are completly rusted thru on the passenger side, the trunk is gone pretty much. He says he can beat me just because he has a manual(which is dieing fast cause he cant shift). Somebody plz reassure me I can beat his 140hp POS.

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
His car would fall apart, I was driving behind him and we stopped at D ave and riverview and when he took off his muffler litteraly dropped while he was sitting

Well, at first I saw this car with spray bomb flames, holes through the floor, powered by the crap pile 2.8L and I thought very similar thing that many of you think and if I were 20 years younger I would probably have said what many of you have said. But sometimes growing up, you gain some different perspectives.
To me, this backyard Franken-car reminds me of the spirit of hot rodding before it became all about who has the most Money. People used to buy what they could afford at the time, slap them together with whatever they could and go out and race and have fun. It wasn’t about the money; it was about the creativity, the ingenuity, and most importantly the fun of it all. It was this creative, never say die, refuse to sit on the bench because someone says we are not good enough attitude that made America so strong.
I think a lot of that has gone away in this country, but it is cool to see that some people are still keeping it alive. As for whether you will beat him or not, if he is still running that 2.8L POS engine and if he hasn’t put on twin turbos or something, then you should pass him like he is driving in reverse.
But most importantly, go out and have fun.
