thanks. i had the heat shield backwards and swapped for a diffrent one. can see how a couple wires run as well.
weve got her out and driving now. even though its the wifes car i gotta say i do like the way it rides.

The 80s and 81s had the best suspension of any second gen.

Try some twisties and you will be impressed.

Get too agressive and the back end will come around on you.

the next part to do is the rear leaf springs, kinda flat right now. just got the alignment done had it out monday night what a blast. i road in it while she drove but still what a blast. the way people stop and look at that car is crazey, dont see any around this area. the 25th will be its first show up hear since she dont work that day and we can take both.

i heard that. we took it to the guy we bought it from and he about fell over when he seen it. it had an engine fire in 1992 and my uncle bought it stored it sold it to his father inlaw and continued to store it 2 yrs ago they asked if i wanted to redo it and the wife said hell yea. so it wasnt in bad shape just faded real bad and no wires under the hood melted hosses everywhere and what not plus the engine had seized up from setting so long with water in it. needless to say money later hard work and now both are happy
