What would cause ticking from the wheel only while moving? Ticks faster going quicker and does not quiet when the load is taken off. 02 z28 completely stock. Has gotten louder the past few days.

got the car up a few minutes ago and noticed before taking the wheel off that it was something with the wheel while spinning. take it off and what do i find, the chrome plating bubbling just enough that it would scrap on the calipers. so after scraping and peeling off all the bad plating i threw the wheel back on and whala no more noise! glad it was nothing i had to spend money one. i like repairs and finds like this when something is wrong!
