    Quit being a lazy *** and take the wheel off! That's the only way you're gonna really get it clean. I don't trust Simple Green on aluminum so I haven't used it in years on anything. Some bug and tar remover or wax and grease remover should get that crud off with some elbow grease.

      simple green is bad on aluminum?

        Yeah. If used full strength and left on it can corrode it. It even warns you on the bottle about leaving it on aluminum too long.

          I guess it pays to read the instructions.

            use a clay bar it never fails me

                i love simple green, kicks brake dusts ass, and judgeing by the pictures its not that bad, spray on, leave for abuot 2 to 3 mins not long, then use a semi abrasive pad (nothign thatll scratch the wheel but will cut through the dust), works for me everytime, leavin em nice and shiny.
