  • C5 brakes installed

I just got them done tonight, and they are excellent. The pedal feel is much better and the car stops unbelievably well. I went with drilled and slotted rotors that i had dipped in zinc, stainless lines, and a factory style ceramic pad. The install took a little less than 3 hours.

I wanted to do this swap with my thirdgen, but I would have to also get bigger wheels. Unfortunately I cannot afford both at the moment.

yeah i hear you, i had the brackets and the rotors for a year before i finally got the money for the calipers and lines because i went overbudget on the motor. Definately worth the wait and getting them on there finally though

Can you do this mod with 16"s?

no, they require a 17" or larger wheel. Not all 17s work either, there is a template that can be used to check for clearance.
