  • Do you/did you like nitto DR's

There is a lot of bashing of nittos and it is my feeling that some people are bashing them and have never tried them on. Only vote if you have ran a set for at least a week on a car.

Basically i think they will be perfect for my cam/bolton/suspension/m6 ls1. They will hook better than any other street tire, they will last at least a couple seasons. I think they will give enough traction wise to spin em over on occasion. I am scared to run e/t streets as i fear they will suck in the rain, will only last one summer, and definately blow my rearend.

Do you Like your nittos or not? (i will run 275/40/17 btw)

I plan on buying them so I can drive to the track with them on the car. I was told that any kind of drag radial compound will likely blow your rear end.

They are ok. My only major knock on them is they run skinner then most other tires. but thats nittos in general. I had them on a stock mustang and it was tougher to turn them over then regular tires.

But i like them cause they last longer than other DR's which means they arent as sticky i would think. But i havent ran other DR's just a observation. but i just picked up a barely used set last night 275/40/17.

1995 TA Sold. i sure do miss it though.

i ran them for 3 years on my old TA worked great on the street loved em! Track they cut 1.8s all day no problem with a light burn out. I never really pushed them that hard at the track because i didnt want to blow the stock rear. I did launch hard once on them with spray and i had wheel hop, but this was on stock suspension , bolts ons, cam only, and 100 shot. Some suspension work might have helpped with the wheel hop.

My Best 60' on these tires 245's was 1.74 they just torched my lane and resprayed it tahts why, i was constantly cutting 1.9 and 1.8s with them though, only down side was midway through first gear id lose traction again.
