  • Need Brake help

Alright so this morning i started on getting my brakes all changed out, everything was going good, until, the rear rotors, for some reason i can not get these things off, checked the haynes manual, says they just pull off, but mine only move maybe an eighth of an inch, and then it sounds like they are fused to the axel shafts. If anyone can help me out that would be sweet, i wanna get this done today.

make sure your e-brake is off...if it's on, that'll make them not come off....if the ebrake is off, and they are just "stuck" take a rubber mallet, or anything really and hit the back side of them, so they come off

I had the same problem 2 weeks ago when i was taking mine off, i was sure that they were bolted on, but i got a big rubber mallet and hit the heck out of it, and they came off, but it takes a little. One side was easier than the other too

got em off, took the good old torch and heated up the middle of the rotorsa little bit, and then hit em with the mallet and they came off.
