  • Wheel Repair

I've got a factory ZQ8 (Z28) wheel that got damaged. It screwed up the lip along the bead, and bent the rims flange about 0.100". I know that I have seen places that will repair rims in the past. I found a couple of places online, but would like to find somebody local if possible. Has anybody had something like this done before? Any help would be appreciated.

Just picked up some from Detroit Wheel and Tire. They did an AWESOME job, to bad I noticed last nite that the mounting holes are differnet than my rears.
They are at 10 and John R. Northside of 10 mile, the Madison Heights side.

I had my wheels redone by Alloy Wheel Repair

They picked 'em up from my work, stripped, powdercoated, machined back the exposed aluminum areas, and powdercoated over again in clear.

Had 'em done and back to me in 3 days (dropped off at my work).

They did a great job, and can fix gouges and roundness issues.

X2 We used to have them recondtion our wheels but the owners switch hands and they didn't want to work on wheels that are worth 2,000 a piece.
