  • Need help with C5 wheels on my TA

    I have C5 staggered 275/40/ 17 front 18 back.
I'm using 1" spacers to prevent wheel rubbing, it don't look rite!
    Would 3/4 make a difference OR ?
Or do I just get different wheels ,C5 seem like the wrong offset . This pic is the best one I have to show. Any advice would help
I have new 17"Michelin pilots in front.

Note:tire to far outside, I think it should be inwards. Is that normal for 275/40/18 to rub? What can I do to ditch 1"spacers..
Open to a different setup if in my budget.
305 in the back is what you guys run??

Why run spacers? I have these wheels on my Camaro, no spacers at all. You will need to sand the hole where the hub stocks onto the wheel a bit
The f body axel stump won't fit in it without a little help.

are those actual corvette wheels or copies? are they the same width as the factory wheels? the factory ones should fit without issue.

Factory wheels, but they do rub, I guess I need to do a little grinding

A smaller spacer would move them in, but i don't think it looks bad. I'm running 295s on stock vette wheels with no rubbing.

I'm putting c6 on mine, 18x8.5 fronts-19x10 rears and I got to run a 1.250 spacer in the back,I test fitted mine without tires and they didn't look like they were sitting out to far for me

Thanks guys, I'm on the look out for something different, or powder coat mine gloss black.
                I wonder the cost?
