    spring differences?

    I am working on a 99 w68 firebird. So it has a upgraded suspension. However, it has a 6 cyl. I am converting to an lsx. I do have some stock z28 springs that I could use. 1st question is. Would the firebird springs work or should I go with the z28 springs?

    Yes they will work.
    The spring rates are different. I would guess the ride height would be similar Iron V6 vs Aluminum V8 but someone else will chime in.

      Just for clarification, I am installing an iron 5.3. So there will probably be a weight penalty.250,000 miles, still has the original shocks.
