Do you have a cage or roll bar? I haven't personally seen a torn floor, but I haven't looked at many cars with floor mounted torque arms. Just something to be aware of.

Y pipe is off. the rubber for the torque arm doest look to bad. Not great but not bad, its mostly there. But I am going to replace it with urethane anyways. amd I am going to switch to the other arm Just cuz I have it.

Summit, I love you. I ordered my torque arm bushing yesterday around 8:20 pm. It was on my porch today before 4:00 pm.

i noticed a difference swapping that bushing out even on the stock torque arm. Stock bushing looked fine too.

Thats good to hear Joel. I am still working on the exhaust. The new y pipe is just as crappy as the old one. But I am stuck with it for now. I just need to weld on the new pipe, to the catback to make it the correct lenth. Custom Deluxe is never easy you know.
Oh and go pick up my new shocks too.

Update. New shocks are on, and they are MONEY! Wish Id done the fronts too. oh well. Y pipe is installed, although I didnt care for the way it went in and how much it contacts the body, it doesnt rattle or bang. It does perform however! that pipe definitely woke that motor up!
The urethane torque arm bushing is also the shit. I recommend that unit to all z owners. It made a huge difference in my car. LOVE it!

So the $64,000 question.....did it cure my wheel hop? It is early in the testing phase to say for sure but I gave it a good thrashing tonight and no hop. I have not done more than a couple 0 mph start, NHRA style launches , but the few I did do went ok. I am very hopeful, everything felt good. I did one very nice burn out that was quite a spectacle , 3 gears and 0 hop so ...maybe...

So, I am going to say the wheel hop is cured. I did some additional "testing" today without a hint of hop. Hit the gas and it just spins em. Now I gotta figure out how to get some traction. lol!
