Just a little info for those trying to decide on an upgrade on 4th gens. I replaced my wheels and tires on my 2000 Z28 this summer with 18x10.5 rear and 17x9.5 front ZO6 style wheels with 56mm offset. I was going to buy BFG again but Discount Tire jacked me over on price quoted one price then jumped it $200 just 4 weeks later. So I ended up with Bridgestone Potenza from Firestone in Centerline rear size is 295/35-18 fronts are 275/40-17. If I was to do it again I would go smaller on the front either 255/40 or 265/40 as the side wall on the 275 looks taller than the rears but they fit fine. The only thing that needs to be done for fit on the rear is to trim the axle bump snub bracket on the drivers side rubbed when hard cornered or car was lifted on the hoist. A week after installing we were able to run 4 semi fast laps at Waterford Hills and they grip like you are on rails. So far no problems and they gripped Jake's dyno to give me 320hp/334tq at the wheels with no major mods not even headers
