Sub frame connectors

So I got my UMI sub-frame connectors this week for the vert and last night finally had some time to put them in, I got the bolt in with weld in option and they were a piece of cake and fit perfect !! I drove it to work this morning and what a huge difference, This fall I will weld them in when she goes into the garage for hibernation. I will get some pics but GREAT QUALITY !!!

I love my bolt in subframe connectors. And as far as I can tell, they haven't moved a mm from when I bolted them in.

It's hard for me to say whether mine help a ton or not as I put in new shocks at the same time, but the car feels MUCH more solid now. It did "three wheel" on jackstands, where previously, the car would have just twisted like a noodle. They did provide some benefit in a parking garage when I scraped them well on a speed bump - I don't know if I would have hit the rockers or not, but I'd much rather hit on DOM tubing than sheetmetal!

I do have a clunk on large sharp bumps...I've torques the front and tunnel bolts up more, but I haven't torqued the rear any more. I want to do that to rule out it's the SFC's. I am just really hoping it isn't anything in my coilover assemblies as I am running cut springs and modified mounts.

Yeah, They made a huge difference in the feel on my trek to work this am. I usually only do one mod at a time just to see if there is any difference, These made a big difference. Like they said in the product description, they eliminate a lot of rattles and squeeks

Which style did you go with?

Its the basic ones, The 2 points if you will, they bolt in at the rear lower control arm and the front frame where it curves. I bolted them in last night, the front bar is kinda a pain but wasnt terrible, took about 30 minutes to do them

I have bmr round tube on mine weld in they really do work good.

I found a new (unused) set of SLP 3 point bars a couple of years ago on craigslist. He wanted $350 and I got them for $160. SLP quit making these quite a few years ago

Ive been checking ebay almost daily, We can all see from my posts I have A LOT of free time, I finally gave in and bought the UMI ones. I really wanted the SLP but I get antsy lol

I am probably one of very very few here who have them, but I got QA1 weld ins, easily the best $100 I have put into the car.
If you guys ever take your car to the track, it is a night and day difference in how it puts power down.

I bet ! I cant wait to take it to the track. All my suspension stuff has made the feel completely different. I ripped it into 2nd the other day and made the cd skip for a few seconds lol
