Just noticed too, that $165 is without the loop. Add another $40 for the loop.
Yup - that's why I'm not buying a new one Turns the $300 torque arm into a $505 torque arm... Although truth be told I couldn't care less about the driveshaft loop considering it's never been to the dragstrip before.

After snapping an aftermarket torque arm in two on the street I've decided to take every safety precaution I can

            Is that custom?

I really need to get a driveshaft loop of some sort... But i dont have a crossmember at all on my car right now because of the duals. Think i might order the MWC piece.

I've got an extra slp driveshaft loop if you need.

Well the spacers didn't work as good as I had hoped - when I was planning on buying the spacers I thought it was $30 for the pair. Turns out it was $30 per INDIVIDUAL spacer. Ended up having to buy a second spacer so grand total was a little less than $60.

Did it help? Yes. Did it fix the problem? Nope... still scrapes a LITTLE but I can tolerate a LITTLE scraping compared to not being able to get into my garage without driving onto 2x4s.

But on a positive note, it did give the car a little more rake... I measured ground to the top of the wheel wells and the fronts are at 26.5" and the rear is at 27.5" (driver side) and 27" (passenger side) so it's about a half inch rake.

I'm confused, what are you scraping? And going into the garage?

                      Brian, the car looks good!

                        Thanks Jim!

The spohn torque arm's crossmember is for long tube exhaust so it dips down and it bottoms out while I drive in and out of my garage.

Id find a dip in the road somewhere and drive through it repeatedly until that bastard "self clearances" the problem away

red alert looks better with the spring spacers to be completely honest, now to find a wider wheel with some dish.

Personally I would have it modified or buy a crossmember with better clearance, remember it wouldn't even be as low as it is if you had it installed under the SFC flanges like its supposed to be. I would think most any tunnel mounted torque arm crossmember is pretty similar coming from bmr, umi, or spohn as they are essentially the same design.
