It's getting to be that time for a new set a tires, unfortunately every passing year fewer and fewer tires are made in the 275/40/17 size as manufacturers continue in the trend of stupidly large diameter wheels/tires on their performance cars.
I was originally planning on the Conti extreme DW but apparently it's backordered around the country til July or something.
The few remaining choices left that are halfway affordable in the $160 range are:
BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2
Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport
Sumitomo HTR Z III (super cheap tire and probably not comparable)
then there's a few other nitto's and such but I don't really want those on a daily driver. Well if you have any tire experiences to share in this size it would be helpful! Thanks.
