  • 98 Trans Am Suspension/ Wheels Tires

To me it looks like the rear of my car is lower then then front. Here's my question I wanna run 17x11 wheels with 315/35/17 and don't wanna cut too much. What would you guys suggest? Lower whole car or get new stock rear springs? Also anyone know of or paint . My hood got keyed with big X's in the black part. I am in Sterling Heights so someone who paints local would be great. Thanks

might have had the "heater hose" lowering in the rear. The stock spring bumper is replaced with heater hose on the spring. Might only need to replace stock spring bumper.
Luckily they only scratched the black part. Maybe even change the color when its painted? Red?
When in doubt, Whip it out !

315's are a pretty fat tire. I know the 325's I had on my car required the BFH mod. Sterling heights I don't know anyone that paints down there. And farmington is on with the heater hose mod, just look at the top of the spring were it goes up top to the car and look if there's a hose wrapped around it.

Ok what would be a good size tire/rim to run on rear the way it is. Also what springs would you guys recommend to run on front to lower it even or more than the rear?

BMR front springs are the perfect look imo

315/35/17s will fit at stock ride height, with correct wheel spacing.

Good info from the guys here. If you do need the isolator's referenced by Don, I'm pretty sure I have mine lying around. Personally, I'd opt for the BMR springs (or equivalent) then reevaluate if you need them.
