Depends on what direction you are going with the car. I would say the 2-point SFCs are good for general use and straight line stuff, whereas the 3-point SFCs are better for auto-x/road racing and big-hp straight line cars.

3pt or go home. Might as well do it right the first time.

I have 2 point. 3 point just seemed overkill for me and I got a good deal on the ones I have.

I agree with Spencer. If you're buying SFCs to stiffen the chassis, to me 3pt is the only way to go.

Mine does the same thing with 2 point and 3 point is not required for aftermarket torque arm. I use a spohn chassis mount torque arm.

2 points make a noticeable difference - spend the extra $150 on lower control arms

Installing 2 point connectors will make the body 20%(?total guess?) stiffer but installing 3 pt connector is going to make it 22%(total guess) stiffer. What I am saying it 2 pt connectors will make a noticable improvment but comparing 2 pt vs 3 pt the difference isn't as drastic.

o·vr·kill [oh-ver-kil]1. an excess of what is required or suitable, as because of zeal or misjudgment.

A true 2 point SFC like the midwest piece will do more for you than those 3 points that mount to the LCA bracket and that sheet metal tunnel brace bracket.....

Yes -they tie the chassis together. The only thing better is thru the floors like the ones listed here: http://www.ktsracecars.com/cages.htm

That being said - I have UMI's bolt in 2 points. Some MWC connectors will find their way on my car when I'm able to weld again.
