  • Need help... I can't get Double Flare to seal!

I need some help. I can't get the double flares to seal. I am doing the ABS delete and linelock and the rear brakes seem to of flared fine, but I can't get the fronts to seal and I am running out of usable brake line to flare!

Anyone good at double flares and wanna come over and help me!

Never been able to do double flares - have you checked youtube for any tips? It's amazing the how-to videos that are on there.

I've given up for tonight. Im pretty sure I am out of usable line. I guess tomorrow I will buy new brake line and bend some new lines. Awesome. I think the factory used bubble, but the kit says use double. Their flares included in the kit are not leaking. Mine are leaking at the distribution block included with the kit.

        Anyways heres where I am.

Still looks good even on jack stands hahaha.

Gotta debur. I even take a piece of fine grit sandpaper to clean up the flare a tad when I am done with it

The new line will flare easier than the factory stuff as well.

Well I went out and got new lines. Two 72" ones. Passenger side worked great. Obviously I had to shorten the driver side. So I shortened it, sand papered the cut, flared it, hooked it up. STILL LEAKED!!!!!! So I said screw it. Ripped the driver side out, got a 40in piece and it happened to fit really nice, so no more leaks. Got it all together wired up, drove it around the block, dialed the brakes in. So I went to my old high school and did a burn out in the parking lot to celebrate haha.
