C5 Z06 wheels and tires fitment

I know it's old news but just want to make sure I know what I'm getting into before I make the purchase. Getting ready to get a set of chrome z06 wheels 17x9.5 in the front and 18x10.5 in the rear (not sure of OEM but are the same dimmensions) but have heard that some fitment problems can be had in the rears. I would like to take advantage of the 10.5 inch width and run a minimum of a 305 tire on it and possibly a 315 (295 being stock). I know that I will more then likely have to do quite a bit of banging on the inside of the fender wall but have also seen people run a 1/4'' spacer to help push the wheel out a tad more to help while not looking boojee. Just looking for some advice here and to see if someone on here maybe has a similar set up and would like to explain what they had to do to make everything work correctly. Thanks everyone!

I have C5 Z06 18x10.5 on all four corners. I have +53mm offset and had to do nothing to get them to fit. No spacers or hammers. I think the stock Z06 wheels are +58mm offset and you will need a spacer with those.

Yeah I think your right since these are coming off a z06 versus being directly made to fit our cars with the correct offset. Do you know how risky it is running spacers or anyone for that matter? I've heard good and bad with using them. I plan on taking the car to the track sometimes and will run some sort of a drag radial on my stock 16's but can the spacers hold up to that kind of punishment? Just curious. I know the wheels will fit, but trying to see what people had to do to do so. Thanks for the response!
